Backend Project Initiation Contract

Introduction

Scope of Work

• Develop APIs according to the client’s requirements.
• Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases as needed.
• Document the APIs using Swagger or ReDoc.
• Provide a complete deployment script if requested.
• The agreement does not include : frontend design, hosting, payment gateway , or post-delivery technical support unless otherwise agreed
• Deploying projects outside our scope of work is possible but subject to special pricing.
• Develop full web projects using the MVT pattern with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Django 5.x.x
• Integrate Google OAuth login | Configure projects using the django-allauth library (for MVT projects).
• Integrate Google OAuth login | Configure projects using the dj-rest-auth library (for DRF projects) – coming soon.

Payment Terms

• First payment (advance): 20% of the total project cost, payable before starting
• Second payment: 50% upon delivery of the beta version
• Final payment: 30% upon final delivery
• All payments can be made via: [BaridiMob, CCP, VisaCard, or PayPal]
• Work will commence only after confirmation of the first payment

Terms of Cooperation

• Delivery will be made within the agreed timeframe, provided that all details are supplied in a timely manner
• Any delays from the client in providing information or feedback may affect the schedule.
• Revisions outside the scope of work will be priced separately.
• Communication will be conducted via email or through the platforms specified on the "Contact Me" page.

Intellectual Property

• Upon full payment, the project along with its source code will be delivered to the client.
• As the developer, I reserve the right to showcase the project in my portfolio (unless otherwise agreed not to publish it).
• The client is not permitted to resell the code without prior written consent.

Cancellation and Refunds

• If the client decides to cancel the project after payment, the advance payment is non-refundable.
• A project will only be considered canceled upon receiving an official confirmation from both parties.

Technical Support

• Post-delivery technical support is not included unless there is an explicit agreement
• Monthly technical support packages can be provided upon request

Important Notes

• Hosting and domain fees are not included in the price. Any deployment of the project on external servers or hosting services will incur additional charges based on the hosting provider.
• Choosing the hosting service is the client’s responsibility; however, I will provide advice and recommendations based on the type of project and its audience (e.g., simple hosting for MVP projects or advanced hosting for production-ready projects).
• The first payment is not only to confirm the project but also to ensure full time is allocated to it and that no other projects will be prioritized over it
• Prices do not include monthly maintenance or future updates unless a separate support package is agreed upon
• Any significant changes to the requirements after work has started may lead to adjustments in pricing and delivery timelines
• The code will be delivered at the end of the project after receiving all payments. Any request for partial delivery must be agreed upon in advance
• The client is responsible for providing all the necessary details to begin work. Any delay in submitting content or information may affect the delivery date
• I can guide the client in using free or low-cost services if the project is experimental or aimed at testing an idea only
